Customer Success Engineer (T3) · Enterprise SaaS integrations, fleet operations & automation
Professional Summary
Customer Success Engineer with a systems-engineering backbone: I close ambiguous production issues, own integrations (especially SSO/IAM), and ship the internal tools when product gaps block scale.
Comfortable across the stack from physical devices and Windows kiosk fleets to Dockerised services, Flutter/Electron clients, and Grafana/Loki-style observability — with a consistent bias toward measurable outcomes and fewer repeat incidents.
Skills & strengths
- Technical customer success: deep investigations, configuration, and credible engineering conversations with enterprise stakeholders
- Fleet & platform reliability: imaging/partitioning/UEFI-level fixes, remote configuration, automated release pipelines, proactive alerting
- Integration & automation: AWS (including Connect/Lex), SSO multi-tenant behaviour, n8n/Make/Power Automate, Go exporters and supporting services where needed
- Product delivery under constraint: documentation-from-code, sprint facilitation, and shipping cross-platform apps (Flutter/Electron) when roadmap capacity lags customer need
Professional experience
- Own technical success for enterprise SaaS (procedure management and quality management): complex investigations, configuration, onboarding support, and delivery during post-acquisition restructuring.
- Reverse-engineered undocumented multi-tenant SSO by tracing the application source, validating behaviour in Azure AD, and publishing end-to-end internal documentation for implementations and incidents.
- Closed long-standing knowledge gaps by generating accurate documentation from the codebase using AI-assisted extraction, manually verified against runtime behaviour.
- Facilitated sprint planning and product trade-offs when dedicated PM/engineering capacity was unavailable — translating technical constraints into commitments stakeholders could trust.
- Built a Flutter cross-platform kiosk application in personal time that removed Windows-only hardware friction in enterprise evaluations and supported a major customer win.
- Operated and improved a 300+ device Windows kiosk fleet: eliminated recurring disk-space incidents by correlating tickets to an imaging defect, extending volumes fleet-wide, and fixing the master image.
- Removed a chronic "dead device" ticket class by researching Surface UEFI behaviour and enabling auto power-on for kiosk enclosures via Surface Configuration Tool.
- Delivered a production AWS Connect + Lex IVR from scratch when the organisation lacked professional call routing — improving customer experience without heavy proprietary telephony spend.
- Owned an Electron kiosk client with CouchDB-backed remote configuration and Teams proactive alerts; implemented Bitbucket Pipelines so every qualifying commit produced a published Windows installer with team notification (zero manual packaging for routine releases).
- Built and operated Grafana-centred observability patterns to keep field operations measurable and supportable.
- Shipped 10+ engagements across web, mobile (Flutter/Expo), automation (n8n), and cloud-adjacent delivery — examples include WHS contractor check-in, visitor management with badge printing, and NDIS bulk payment tooling.
- Delivered a live AWS enterprise-style migration assessed as a working system: VPC design, Managed AD touchpoints, Nagios monitoring, Sophos IPS/IDS, 3CX on EC2, WorkSpaces, and S3 — not a slide-deck simulation.
- CCNA-aligned networking depth plus Linux administration, security, and systems architecture fundamentals carried into production roles.
Selected projects & outcomes
- Electron kiosk platform (300+ devices) - Configurable Electron client, CouchDB remote config, proactive Teams alerting, and automated CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines) for repeatable field releases.
- Flutter kiosk path for enterprise sales - Cross-platform (Android, iPad, BYOD) kiosk-class workflows built outside the formal roadmap to unlock hardware procurement constraints and support a major deal.
- AWS Connect + Lex IVR - Self-directed design and implementation of professional call routing and self-service entry points at startup-friendly cost.
- Observability & reliability - Grafana/Loki patterns across enterprise contexts; custom exporters and operational telemetry where off-the-shelf views were insufficient.
